    Hey guys,
Buckeye invading Wolverine territory here. We are staying in Grand Rapids tonight and will be in Kalamazoo tomorrow. We will also be out towards Grand Haven and Detroit before the trip is over. Hoping you guys can give some good advice for bottle shops in any of these areas. Thanks for in advance.

In Kalamazoo Mega Bev and Drake's Party shop are your best bet. Tiffany's has a decent selection but a bit higher prices.

On the way to Detroit, your best bets are Holiday Market in Royal Oak, Merchants in Dearborn and Discount Drinks in Wyandotte.

I would hit Drakes first and Tiffany's second going through Kalamazoo.
I would also think about stopping into Dark Horse on the way.

Best advice I can give.... Turn around and go back to Columbus!! We don't take kindly to "Your type"!! Lol

Agreed, Around Detroit... Holiday in RO, and Champaines in Warren. Definitely hit Kuhnhenn in Warren for some growlers (you won't be sorry)

Corner market in Spring Lake when in the Grand Haven area. They have two shops - one near the entrance to Grand Haven when heading from Grand Rapids (rte 31, Ferrysberg) and another a few miles into Spring Lake, just east of Grand Haven. They will call the other stores and hold something for you if looking for something in particular that they only have in the other store.

Sicilianos is something special. They have beyond a great selection, and some great folks work there. Holiday Market in Royal Oak is pretty awesome too.

If you end up heading towards Ann Arbor, hit up the Wine Cellar.

I just left The Corner Market and had no problem dropping +$100. And they still have Short's Cake

If you are on I-96, Horrock's in Lansing is just a half mile from the highway.

If you're on I-94, Mega-Bev in Battle Creek is approximately near the highway but it takes one mile to get there from the highway. Sweetwater's is a kick ass donut shop that is close by as well if you appreciate great donuts.

I agree with the poster who stated to stop by Dark Horse if you are on I-94. Their brewpub is only 10 minutes from the I-94 and is definitely worth the visit.

"If you end up heading towards Ann Arbor, hit up the Wine Cellar."
-Don't mean to be overly-particular, but it's "The Wine Seller", around the backside of a strip-mall on the north-side off Plymouth Rd,, and is definitely a good stop in AA if you're there. Other solid shops in the area include Wine Castle on Stadium St (ask for the allocated beers list they keep at the counter, ie the beers are kept hidden), Plum Market less than a half mile from there, and various small bottle shops you may come across for randomness that may have sat for a bit. Good luck.
