The wife and I are heading up to Founders for the KBS release at the end of March and decided to make a little trip out of it. We want to check out some of the local breweries in the area and will be there from Wednesday to maybe Friday or Saturday. I want to hit up Greenbush, New Holland, Arcadia, and obviously Founders. We have been to Bells, but would probably go again. We also collect growlers from breweries and would like to expand on our collection. Any recommendations for other Breweries to hit up or the best days to see them? Any good tours? Any good beer bars in the Southwestern Area? I would prefer to keep most of my destinations there, but would be up to going outside the area for a great spot. Any help would be fantastic.
It was probably said in the above posted link to a similar thread but you can add Dark Horse, Brewery Vivant and Perrin Brewing for brewery stops. HopCat is a good beer bar as well as they have some of their own brewed beers, and just up the street is Grand Rapids Brewing. What city is on the schedule for the overnight stay? Knowing that will help suggest other beer bars.
