Hi all, I'm new to the trading scene, but would like to get involved at some level. I am curious what Michigan beers are sought after usually. Seems like most are winter releases from what I've seen. Plead the 5th (and BB version), 4D (and BA), Curmudeon, and KBS seem to come up. Just curious what else I should be on the lookout for that works well for trades. Not looking to land whales, just some quality stuff I can't get in the Metro Detroit area.
Short's, since you can't get it too easily outside of MI. Stuff readily available in MI makes for great locals 4 locals trading and is always welcome in BIF/LIF posts that aren't really specific about the beers involved.
You should be able to grab some of the rarer Jolly Pumpkin releases, those should land you some decent items...Founders bkstout and imperial stout usually land great locals.
The Jolly Pumpkin Grand Reserves have had great trade value for me. Pretty much all the other MI locals have been very well accepted as trade bait. If you live in MI, a whole world of trades are open to you.
