Heading there for 4 days next week for business. I see that they have the Shoreline Brewery in town and Three Floyds is also 45 minutes away. Will definetly hit up both of those. Any other breweries nearby or bottle shops To go to? Will also take any advice on restaurants and anything else fun

King Richards liquor store has a pretty decent selection...as well as Pat's on highway 20 in nearby Porter..... Both FFF and Shoreline have pretty great food too.

Worthy of a trip by 18th Street – it'll be 20-25 minutes west of you.

Head a little North into Michigan and checkout Greenbush and the Tapistry, Maybe Round Barn as well.

You need to check out Burn Em Brewing in Michigan City. It's to go and tastings only, but they make some great beer.

18th Street is the "must hit" of the above. They are doing some of the most interesting beers in the country right now.

I agree that Greenbush and Tapistry in Michigan are very worthy places to visit, and they are both right around the corner from Michigan City.

Agree. Green bush is off Exit 12 I 94 north so only 25 minute drive at the most.

Bare Hands in Granger, IN is one of my faves. Also add Round Barn and the Livery to the list.

    How's the Blue Chip Casino?

That's not hyperbolic at all. It's true. There's a reason people in other parts of the country want to try the Hunter variants, Bitches Bank, Deal With the Devil, etc. Those are really good (and interesting) beers.

Not bad and 4 Winds Casino is about 15 minutes away and better IMO.

Go to Redamaks in New Buffalo and get the velvetta cheeseburger.

Greenbush for the killer BBQ platter! The hot links are money, and the beer isn't too shabby either. Go across the street to their annex and play some bocce afterwards if you can still stand up. Just a fun place with great ambiance. This coming from a guy that lives in Three Floyd's country.

If you go to Greenbush and they have any Village Idiot left, make sure to buy it.

They've covered the beer, but hit up the Indiana Dunes State Park if you have a free afternoon

My wife and I love Blue Chip Casino, because our money is no good there. LOL I know that they do have some craft beer, but it's basically your widely distributed Sam Adams, New Belgium, Sierra Nevada, etc. I will give another nod to Shoreline Brewery, 18th Street and Greenbush.
