Does anyone have any recommendations on craft beer from Michigan?
PS : Looking for something other than founders.

Bell's as said above, and also Dark Horse. Plead the 5th is a fantastic beer they also make some good IPA's. Short's makes some interesting beer, not a huge fan, but people seem to really enjoy them.

Some of my favourites that distribute:
    Short's
    Bell's
    Brewery Vivant
    Dark Horse
    Odd Side Ales
    Jolly Pumpkin
    B. Nektar Meadery (just getting into beer, they make excellent meads)

Oddside and Shorts are my two favorite breweries. They are only available in the state of Michigan too. Odd Side Citra Pale Ale is truly something special.

Bells, Dark Horse, Jolly Pumpkin are among my favorite breweries as well, but you can get those outside of Mi

Same. They're somewhat similar in that they aren't afraid to experiment, and more often than not the beers pan out.

    Michigan beer's the best beer.

My vote goes to Short's and Oddside. I would also recommend Kuhnhenn which will be bottling hopefully by the end of the year

Good call. I've heard amazing things about PT5. I used to live in Michigan, but being 10 at the time, didn't quite get to experience this aspect of the state.

No one has mentioned Brewery Vivant yet?! Great Belgian-inspired beers with some sours in their line-up of beers too.

I'm probably in the minority here but I think wolverine and dragon mead are just awesome. If you can find a bottle of massacre, a bourbon barrel aged dark lager, seek it out.

Sadly, there's no craft beer worth drinking in Michigan. Best stuff here is imported; Labatt's Blue, Molson Canadian, etc. You're better off making a run down through Ohio, particularly if you're into high-ABVers.
