I think most of you know, but for those who don't know, Matt left The Beer and Wine Cave last month. It's still the same great store and most of you would know or recognize Steve, who runs it now, as having worked with beer and wine at the Market Anderson's) in Sylvania. The reason Matt left is to open a new store. I just wanted to let everyone know that if you haven't yet, it's really worth checking out. It now gives an option for good beer downtown, not to mention its location in the Oliver House means you can grab some good stuff from MBBC and pick up some good bottles in the same trip. Matt also has an uncanny knack for picking up some really interesting stuff and gives great information and service. It's open from 8 AM to 8 PM and is really, really worth a stop.
I stopped in there on Saturday after eatting at MMBC. It is a nice shop and Matt was very nice. Looking forward to getting some good beers there since I work downtown.
