I''m not in Midland but have family there and I'm pretty darn sure Midland Brewing closed... witchcraft is pretty solid but besides that I'd hit up Eastman Party Store for bottles and call it a day.

As a non-local I'm sure I'm missing some options though. Hopefully someone else jumps in and gives you more useful information.

    Cheers!

Diamond Jim's in Midland has a Kentucky Derby Party every year where they tap a keg of KBS. Looks like you will be in town for that. They usually have free food too. I will prob be going to the Derby Party. Whichcraft and Big E's in Midland usually have nice taplists. Eastman for bottles.

The Michigan Tap Room in Saginaw is the best craft bar in the Tri-Cities. Oppermann's Cork N' Ale is a nice bottle shop in Saginaw. Both are def worth checking out.

If you come to Bay City, we have Tri-City Brewing and Lumber Barons as far as are our breweries. Governor's Quarters and Tavern 101 are our two best craft bars. Ideal Party Store (two locations) would be your best bet for bottles in Bay City.

I believe Midland Brewing opened back up earlier this year.

@oberon Don't be concerned that Michigan Tap Room is inside a bowling alley it is the best spot for craft that I remember when I was working in Saginaw a couple of years ago

I'll confirm that Midland Brewing has re-opened. I think it was reported in the recent issue of the Michigan Beer Guide.

If you are going to be in the Bay City area you can check out Tri-City Brewing's new building. I have not been there, but I always like everything that I've had in bottles from this brewery.
