The price per case on this one went up a lot this year from last year. While 19.99 is a little high it's not ****. The three stores I've seen it at all had it for 18.99.

I think I paid 19.99 at Bine and Vine? It's about what I expected.

 

Paid 19ish up here in LA...would have gladly paid more in retrospect as it's fantastic (and I regularly piss away 13 bucks on Mikkeller garbo so I have no grounds for complaint)

Not So Cal but Nor Cal has it for $16.99 at Ol Beer Cafe in Walnut Creek.....or $24 if you want them to pour into a glass for you and consume it on premise. Sheesh.

 

^I've never been there, but the on premise price is still better than the markup at a regular bar or restaurant.

Got a few bottle at $18, though I didn't end up liking it. Too heavy on the autolyzed yeast flavor.

 

We sold it for $17.99 (with no corkage). As mentioned, was really expensive to buy. None of the prices on here seem unreasonable.

 

Is this still around in SF somewhere? I had a fairly busy week and missed it at City Beer.

 

I think I picked up my bottle for $19-20. Hope this is as good as it sounds, cheers!

 

I would check Liquid Experience and/or Ales Unlimited. They sometimes get overlooked for limited releases. Pretty sure that Healthy Spirits is sold out.

Edit: As of two days ago, Ales Unltd still listed it as in stock.

after i drank the single bottle i bought i went back a few days later to grab another for a trade partner and was told that a guy walked in the day before and spent $500 buying all 20-odd bottles of the shelves. good times in beer land!

 

The amount of disposable income (or incurring debt) some of the beer folk have is borderline terrifying.

 

Bought a couple bottles while in SD last weekend. Looking forward to trying it soon - the last version I had was pretty damn good.

 

Is this available in SD anywhere still?

 

Have seen it exactly nowhere. Wish I'd bought more than 2 at Olive Tree.
