Midnight Sun's website says this beer is distributed across their footprint beginning March 2013. Has anyone seen it yet? Opinions? I know most of their stuff is pricey so I'm wondering if it's worthwhile to purchase if I come across it here on Long Island.

Sorry for those of you who don't see anything from this brewer. I'd post it regionally but they're pretty limited in their distribution to both coasts of the US.

Its been all over WA. It was "meh" in my opinion, especially at $13...

I've seen it, as well as many other Midnight Sun beers (probably because I live in Alaska... dur), and have been buying tons of it while I can, at the one liquor store in my town which has it.

My opinion: Pricey, yes. Worth it? Hell yes. Besides Old Rasputin, this is pretty much the only RIS I have access to here, and it blows me away. I wrote a review of it just recently (look on its profile page) if you want to hear the details. I LOVE my Moscow.

haven't reviewed it so can't offer my opinion, but that link will lead you to several other ones.

I had a bottle from the last batch at a recent tasting, and it's a bruiser of a stout. It's high in ABV for a non-barrel aged beer stout and it really hits you in the face with roast and burnt flavors. It was a little too much for me, but I know some people love these kind of stouts.

Their Arctic Devil was $17 here so I'm assuming it'll be even more than you paid...tough to do when Founders IS is still all over the place for $13 a four pack.

Had the Moscow on tap down in Portland and thought it was really great despite reading the initial reviews. Have yet to try it in bottle.

I loved the first release. I have yet to try this batch.
