    Hello BA's!

The wife and I will be road tripping through the Midwest in a few weeks and were hoping to get some meetups/trades/shares/recommendations for the trip. We will leave from Chicago Wednesday May 14th, stop for lunch in St. Louis (Most likely at Shlafly) then continue to Kansas City and call it a night there (dinner at Boulevard) The next day we will continue on to Denver and remain there until Monday the 19th. Along the way back we hope to spend the first night in Omaha ( I have no idea what to do in Omaha) However as we pass through Iowa on our last day we're going to try to hit Toppling Goliath.

We intend on traveling with no less than a case of Zombie Dust and another good assortment of FFF bombers (Arctic Panzer Wolf, Dreadnaught, Blackheart and War Mullet...maybe more. Additionally, if anyone wants it I'll bring along some New Glarus bottles. I'm happy to share, give away and trade along the way. If anyone wants to take a look at my "gots" and want to set up a larger trade then I'm happy to oblige.

I would love to meet some people and build some ongoing trade relationships that are beneficial for everyone. Please don't hesitate to reach out to me. If anyone has the capacity to organize a share in Denver I would love to contribute as much as I can.

    -Corey

Feel free to stop in at Beertopia when you are in Omaha, we are always open to trades (especially pipeworks, revolution, half acre, etc.) :grinning:

TG is awesome but quite the detour from I-80. Cheers!

While we'd love to have you visit, we don't operate a pub/restaurant on site. We're open for tours during the day though:

If you're not going to be arriving until late afternoon/evening, you should consider taking a morning tour on the 15th. Feel free to message me if you have any questions.

On my way back to MN from the Quad Cities last week, I believe it was 3 1/2 hours to TG. No stops.

Feel free to hit us up on the way through if you're coming through Des Moines Thurs-Sun (afternoons mostly)!

Our tour isn't as big as Jeremy's down there in Kansas City, though, just FYI.

It looks like we'll be stopping Wednesday May 14 for Lunch at Shlafly for sure then hitting Luka's or Randall's on our way out. I would love to meet a few people at Shlafly and trade some beer if anyone is available.

I'd highly recommend Dave's suggestion of hitting up 515 Brewing Co. in Des Moines. Just minutes off I-80/35, it is a great taproom that produces one of the best IPAs in the State (OJ IPA and yes, it's up there with TG IPAs).

Also, if looking for a place to eat/have a few beers, don't miss El Bait Shop.

I think 515 will be in our future. TG looks to be too far off the highway. I guess we'll save TG for a weekend sometime in the future.

Look forward to having you! Decorah is a bit of a haul off of the interstate, but it's really gorgeous up there, and the beer speaks for itself!
