obviously different hop profile, but it terms of how it’s built and overall drinking experience, it’s the most expressive ipa I’ve had from Mikerphone in ages.

cracked my second can of mosaic special sauce last night. probably the best IPA I’ve had from these guys.

pulled the trigger, this will be my first Mikerphone BA release. grabbed some of the banana cream ipa and mikerphone solo too.

between mikerphone, riverlands and more this is going to be an expensive weekend.

 

LOL, I read this as Mikerphone is having a sale on the Icky Thump bottles. I looked it up and saw $27.99 and said, there is no way that is on sale!

 

Throw in Maplewood, More, Energy City, etc for me. Buying freeze starts Sunday lol

 

Got a can on your suggestion and must say I agree, best beer I've had from Mikerphone in ages.

 

They sold out in literally seconds then they posted that there was an error. I figured something went wrong because there is no way any bottles they sell for 28 bucks would sell out in literal seconds.

 

Glad I’m not the only one. Chicagobeer said on Instagram that he couldn’t finish a can, and I was shocked. It’s insanely flavorful but it’s clean too. No chalky or boozy problems that kept me away from can 2

 

Yeah the only criticism is some of my sips felt a tad boozy but that was it. I really love these NE IPAs that have both a great juice flavor but also delicious hop bite. This does that. Plus mosaic is one of my favorite IPA hops.

 

Wish the new BBA release was in a smaller format. What are we supposed to do with a 22 oz 14% BBA beer during quarantine?

 

Lol, exact reason I have for not jumping on this release.

 

22oz isn't that much really. I'd suggest drinking it.

 

If anything, during quarantine is the only time I actually would prefer 22oz bottles than 12oz bottles.

i agree, it really isn't that much. also they are 750ml, not 22oz. @AlwaysAHoot you can always try using your pacifier as a wine stopper.

 

Imagine drinking 25oz of BA wrecking machine lol. No fucking thanks

 

It is basically two pours; really not that big of a deal. I polished off the 750ml of Vanillanoize while doing electrical work at my house (and it has not burned down....yet)

 

25 ounces of the same BBA beer in one sitting is not what I care to do, but apparently others do. Blaze on.

 

Just giving you a hard time I'm also the guy that is about to run through a keg of Navaja by pouring into my 24 oz. mug.
