Got a Sunday slot which is not ideal for an NFL fan like me but I have an addiction to buying BA stouts. Obviously, this will be sweet but hopefully there’s enough barrel to reign it in

 

Carnac says: It will sell out in a couple of hours, it will be good but far on the sweet side, and there will be very little barrel presence, despite being almost 15% alcohol.

 

you just made me realize I’m an absolute moron. I’m so used to no football that I don’t even think about it

 

I'm sure your fantasy team (s) will be fine without obsessing over the scores for an hour

 

You can obsess over scores on your phone now, grandpa. No reason you need to let your fantasy team down just because you want to step outside for a second!

 

Has anyone gone to Mikerphone's patio? Im going with a couple of friends saturday for the first time. Is it actually social distanced? What is the wait like to grab a table on the patio?

 

Yeah, I’ve been twice and they do a good job. Would definitely recommend.

 

Yep. It feels very safe on the front patio and the side area. The side area will be warm on Saturday but they have added more umbrellas. With the BA release and the warm weather, you’ll have a bit of a wait unless you go at an off time

 

Of all the places I’ve been during the pandemic, Mikerphone does the most thorough job of making one feel like it’s safe to be there (tables are socially distanced, they walk you thru the rules every time you visit, signs indicate when the tables have been disinfected, etc.). That said, it’s a crapshoot in terms of getting seated right away as they do NOT take reservations.

I hate Redzone. I try and watch the Bears and the wife wants to watch Redzone...just let me have my game!

 

pardon me, sir, but I believe you meant to say “watch the UNDEFEATED Bears.”

 

The Redzone is for people that don’t actually like football. It’s awful.

 

They’ve done a poor job winning you over.

Some might say they need to work on their Red Zone conversion.

Back in my day, there was only one game on TV, and if it didn’t sell out, we didn’t even get that one! Uphill both ways in two feet of snow and whatnot.

 

sounds like the days before they invented black and white tv so it was just black.

 

BA Snap Crackle Pop is really, really sweet. Not quite on the level of Self Titled, but it's closer to Self Titled than it is to BA ISLBS. Vanilla bomb.
