Mikkeller BA BGBW

    Would you recommend aging Mikkeller BA BGBW Cognac and Calvados or drink them fresh??

    I drank them as soon as I could get my paws on them and found the coffee character that I loved so much in the base version was already faded and/or masked by the barrel presence. I dont see any harm in aging them at this point.

    The way I figure, part of the reason it's so damn expensive is because of the Kopi Luwak coffee which is the first thing to fade away, so if you only have one bottle then I would say drink them fresh.

    I'd say fresh would be best but it's got a lot going on and may still be be good with some time on it.
