I have yet to see this beer on any of the ft forums. Does it just not exist? If anyone has, let me know what it took. Thanks!

Heard it was something you had to order direct from their website. I have seen people posting ISO, but never seen an FT. From what I understand it was such a PITA to get it doesn't trade much

Yeah, it was available on their site for quite awhile, but the cost came out to like $30 for a 12 ounce bottle so that kinda slowed it. I know there was a BA that bought like something over 50 bottles because he liked it so much.

50 bottles... damn. In fairness, having had the regular vanilla shake, I would plop down $30 to try the BA version, but then again, I am terrible about controlling my spending...

Back to the point @winningwes91 - looks like it is going to take at least $30 worth of top shelf limited / special release beer just to get to $4$ - I would think someone asking for a BASS / 2 x Parabola with a plus / brewery only hype sours / or something like that might not be out of the question...

There are a number of ISO/FT posts on it if you look through the trade board. Almost had been going near the ballpark of 1:1 with VR in the last couple trades I did with folks (I was the one ISO it). Absolutely delicious and wish I had more than a couple bottles left.

A friend bought it off the site and with shipping it was crazy expensive. I got to try it and was blown away. Better than Vanilla Rye and I'm a BCBS homer. ISO more.

Is the vanilla a lot bigger than the regular? I was underwhelmed with the regular...

I went though 24 of these in the past year :/ I did get free delivery from Mikkeller which took a little of the sting out of the high cost.

I traded a few bottles, gave some as extras and a few to friends but I drank most of them quietly, alone, with some good music. They are that good. I even stuck a bit of cash away for the next time they´re released

Mikkeller had free shipping to certain European countries a while back. Or maybe he got it a different way, but that's my guess.

Count me as one who thought the base beer was ok, but thought the BA version was outstanding.

As for trading, it's one of those where my trading partner and I actually agreed to include shipping in the $4$ for it. As people have mentioned, it usually comes out to about $30/ea. I think it was for limited IPAs or something like that. Maybe a couple Trillium bottles? Hopefully that helps.

Mikkeller has free shipping in Europe once you spend over 1000kr (about 120$).
