I recently stopped by the Mikkeller bar in Copenhagen and snagged some great glassware. Awesome atmosphere in both Mikkeller bar and Mikkeller and friends bar. Anyone on here live in Bangkok and travel to the Mikkeller bar often? Hoping to get sent to Asia later this year for work and make the jump there. Do they sell glasses there and have a special logo like San Fran and Copenhagen does?

I've dropped by there in between flights. Ignore the opening hours on the Mikkeller website of 0700 for the bar, it is 1700. The bottleshop attached opens prior to the bar.

They sell glasses. I can't remember the price, but think it must have converted to around $10 at a guess. Pictured below is one of the styles.

I'll try to head there this weekend while in Bangkok. Is a taxi the best way to travel there? It seems a little far to walk from Ekkamai BTS.

I have a Bangkok visit this month from 5/13 - 5/19. Staying at the JW Marriott... looks like a 15-20 min cab ride.

Let me know how you like it @kitch

I got around via the trains and the Tuk-tuks or scooter riders. Cheap, entertaining, if a little dangerous at times.

Mikkeller Bangkok is awesome, was there about 2 months ago, will be going back in early June.

Great selection in the bottle shop and you can see what's on tap @ mikkellerbangkok.com

Glasses for purchase were pretty cheap from what I remember, some of the beers are a little pricey - upwards of $35 USD for some of the stuff.

It is a little confusing to try and find, tucked back into an ally that seems really sketchy. There's little green signs that say Mikkeller and point the way though, but they're not the most conspicuous.

Managed to fit in a night there last weekend.
I took a cab to Ekkamai Soi 10 and got off just after the Health Land Spa or something and then walked in.

It's out of the way compared to most of the other bars I've been to in Bangkok as those were at least somewhat clustered whereas, Mikkeller Bangkok really appears to be by itself. Walking in, it seemed like I was passing through a very quite residential neighborhood.

It's a cozy place, not too crowded with 30 beers on tap, mainly European. They also have a bottleshop which closes earlier than the bar at 10pm. It looks like they have a good selection but I arrived after 10 and so could not really check it out properly. If I wasn't so filled before getting there, I would also have tried the food as it looked good.

The people there were also great and I was allowed to try a sip of the beers before picking. If its still there, I suggest No.7 Mikkeller Santa's Little Helper BA Cognac.

It is pretty jaw dropping that such a place with such phenomenal beers and food is in Bangkok at all.

A must visit for tourists and people in BKK on business and a monthly special treat at minimum for resident beer lovers.

Perhaps you could say it is a godsend. I hope they stay for many years to come.
