    interesting indeed, since they hate one another

    I always thought Mikkel chose SF and Jeppe Brooklyn for a reason. that reason being to be as far away as possible from one another

    Mikkel was supposed to be a brewer and Jeppe was supposed to be the bar owner. Then Mikkel opened a bar and they stopped talking. Then Jeppe started a brewery. Then they both started putting bars where the hipsters are.

    I mean, I won't pretend to be in their heads or know firsthand, but their disdain for one another is pretty well-documented. Great article in the New York Times Sunday Magazine from a couple years ago explains some of the background to the family feud.

    That's actually where a lot of my skepticism developed. The whole feud seems a tad contrived. Got them some good publicity.

    These guys are in cahoots, Torst/Jeppe will only see more business with the arrival of a Mikkeller bar in Brooklyn.

    But why bother tweeting about it if you were actually feuding with this guy...

    Yet they were standing next to each other for the accompanying photo. The "feud" is good for publicity and marketing.
