Friendly question for all my beer friends...............Is there any more barrel-aged versions of this beer around anymore? I know they did a tequila, white wine, cognac and a few more. I was only able to try the cognac, and it was the best beer I have ever had (I do not get out much). Are these beers even worth ISO, or will I just be wasting my time? Thanks for any advise! Cheers, Jeff
Haven't had any of them, but if you like the cognac version so much, and it's the best beer I've had, they're certainly worth an ISO for you.
I had all 6 in one evening. White wine, red wine, cognac, tequila, bourbon, and peat scotch. All were very good. The tequila was probably my favorite. I've seen a couple varieties on shelves, still. They didn't get much hype, but are very good, IMO.
There is actually also rum version. They are indeed very good (capped versions). What OP would like to offer FT?
