I thought I’d take a shot in the dark and try to see if any regional BAs know anything about this.

I remember a few years back seeing much more Mikkeller cans popping up places, like their single hops and a few lagers. I haven’t seen anything new coming to my area from them. All that’s left is typically residual Spontan bottles or beer geeks that are collecting dust at shops.

Have they only started focusing on their NYC and SD locations? Are any of you guys seeing cans or bottles pop up?

The issue with Mikeller outside of the NYC/SD locations is that they're signed to Shelton Bros for distribution for the entire rest of the US. Depending on how Shelton Bros gets to your market (if they even do), and your market's tolerance for Shelton Bros ($$ and availability), you may or may not ever see it pop up.

We get a handful of breweries from Shelton Bros. like ToØl, Prairie, Grimm, etc. but you’re right, those beers show up fairly irregularly. Haven’t seen new Mikkeller here in probably 3-4 years.

The Party Source (irregularly) gets some of SD/NYC stuff, but that's literally the only place I've seen it. Their imports are nonexistent in these parts nowadays.

I would love to nab another BA Vanilla Shake. That is a great beer.
