I'm perfectly comfortable with anyone dumb enough to pay $7.50 for Union Jack being charged $7.50 for Union Jack.

Are they basically just using the same prices as Copenhagen and converting it from Kroner to Dollars?

That's still a lot cheaper than Copenhagen, sadly...

Prices there tend to be in the 25-35 DKK range (around $5) for the same 25 cl pours being mentioned in this thread, and listed on the tap list. Yes, full beers are more expensive (routinely $10-$11, like everywhere in Denmark and Sweden).

It would appear it's actually more expensive than the original. Not exactly surprised by this, however.

Holy overpriced, Batman! While the interior is nice, I will happily spend my coin at Amsterdam Cafe with a much better selection.

Was in the city yesterday and was on my list to hit (last call). But had to make a detour from Mikkeller and ended up at Monks Kettle instead. Oh well. Next visit.

Amsterdam is great because it's pretty much the only beer bar that isn't overflowing on a Friday/Saturday night.

Come August 9th....want to get 3, maybe 4 BAs together who want to go balls deep on the rare bottles.
I'm not about to blow my wad on a bottle to myself, and prefer to share with others and meet new BAs who also have cash to blow on bottles we likely want be able to try elsewhere (or even one special bottle in addition to what will be on tap that day).
Example of similar setup: bar had Millennium Gueueze for $150 a bottle....divided the bottle 4 ways=$37.50.
    BM me if interested.

Indeed, but my reaction wasn't to your proposition, but more so your choice of words: Balls Deep and Blow My Wad

None officially announced, but they sure have shown a lot of bottles of old 3F (including 1999, 2001 and 2002) on their Facebook page.
