thinking a low abv lacto stout with chocolate would be good.
Trying to incorporate this into a chocolate zucchini bread.
Maybe those couple by Terrapin. Any real sweet ones suggested?

brother_rebus, my wife has made a chocolate stout bread before that turned out awesome. She used Innus & Gunn rum barrel aged and that was a real good choice. She will be making another one in the next day or two using Founders Breakfast Stout. This isn't a low ABV, somewhere in the 8% range, but was one of many recommended to me. Stay tuned!

Great news. I actually read in a couple sources, one being joy of cooking, not to use dry beers (i e many stouts) nor those with lactose, which seemed a bit counterintuitive to me. They rec'd a malty something or other. Which IME, Inn&Gun is, but whi knows. Interested to hear about the FBS bread though. Godspeed.

Ok, so it's not bread but these bite size muffins are moist and quite tasty. Made with Founders Breakfast Stout (about 10oz), they make a nice little snack.

Well, I was going to post a pic but I cannot figure out how to insert the image. I read somewhere that I need to do some more posting before I am worthy of posting pics. Oh well, guess I need to pay my dues!
