Just a heads up that y'day was the grand opening, and what a fantastic place. It's in Poughkeepsie, on the west bound arterial, just before you reach Grand Hotel. Of course, the fantastic beer is nothing new to me, I have been sharing homebrews with Jamie and Larry for many years now, but having a flight of their beer yesterday, now that they are brewmasters working with a state of the art PKW system, was like tasting them for the first time. It's a beautiful space, the food is simply out of this world, and I cannot recommend it highly enough. Anyone else attend the opening? What did you think? Hope you get a chance to try them out, and post what you think here.
I would have been there, had I not been stuck at work. With that said, multiple people (including a distro) came into the ol' GH last night raving about Mill House Brewing and the beers they had. While I really loved Mill House Panda (was I the only one?), it's a wonder what they've done with the property.I cannot wait to grab a beer at this fine establishment.
Totally agree. Tried all but one of the beers and was very pleased. Glad to hear food was great. Didn't eat but he menu looked excellent. Nice to see they had beers from local breweries as well. They put a lot of thought into the place and didn't spare any cost it seems. And I too was a fan of the Mill House Panda... But when you walk in I don't you'll even know where you are. They totally changed everything.
