so a few weeks ago a bought a couple pounds of milled grain meant to brew a small batch of beer, something came up and i had to skip brewing day for some time (around 2 months), the grains are in a bag inside the fridge, still good or not? I know its a silly question cause i do say its not good anymore, but it doesn't hurt ask if anyone ever experienced this.

You are likely to hear differing opinions here.

Milled grains that are stored cool and dry will last quite some time (e.g. several months). For example, storing the grains in an airtight food container in a basement.

I am uncertain how well milled grains will last in a paper bag in a refrigerator.

    Cheers!

Drew and Denny just did this on the experimental brewing podcast. Based off what they found, you are just fine.

Probably fine, I recommend next time storing in a dark dry place in an air tight container. Check grains for mold or off scent.

While fresher is ideal, if the grains smell and taste ok, thats what your beer should end up tasting like.
