The Sun Times has a photos spread on the Miller-Coors HQ in Chicago. Regardless of what you think of their beers, it is a pretty good looking office. http://www.chicagogrid.com/distractions/millercoors_chicago_office/
Probably just another propaganda and marketing scheme to show the world that they are in some way better than A-B. But dont get me wrong, it does look like a phenomenal place.
I wonder if no one was at the bar because they were trying to take a classy photo, or if it was the Red's Apple -Ale "drink" on the shelf.
It is odd that they didn't showcase the fun atmosphere by taking that photo while there were some people there having fun. Maybe it was taken immediately after a renovation (idk I didn't read the article).
That design just makes people who think they're important feel really important. And we're all glad for that. Cool beyond belief.
It looks good, but their real HQ is in South Africa, not the US. Clever marketing and a cool space, but doesn't make me want to drink one of their products over something local in the least.
"MillerCoors" exists only in the US, a joint venture between two international brewing corporations, SABMiller and MolsonCoors, on an approx. 60/40 (respectively) basis. SAB has been headquartered in London, UK since 1999 (before buying Miller from Philip Morris, so the company was still just 'SAB'). MolsonCoors says it has "co-headquarters" - Montreal, Quebec, Canada and Denver/Golden, CO.
Been there many times. The people there are passionate, but thoroughly believe that marketing is how you win. Great office.
It's certainly "nice", there are a lot worse offices. But, it looks sort of sterile -- like their beer.
