This is my setup and experience exactly with only one difference: I am using an old Craftsman 3/8", 120V drill. Re-gapped to 0.038" back in November, I hit somewhere between 85 and 90% efficiency on my New Year's brew day. Very happy with the mill and would buy again.

I picked up the Cereal Killer and absolutely love it. I can crank out 25lbs in just a few minutes. Excellent crush, easy to adjust, easy to clean, and it's only $99 shipped and no tax. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a mill on the homebrewing level.

I recently got a Cereal Killer. I had vowed not to get a mill, as I don't think I brew often enough to merit bulk storage of grains, but then I made the mistake of getting a couple batches' worth of grain and forgetting to ask for the supplier to crush it for me. At that point, it seemed like the best options would be either eat the cost of the grain and not brew the batches or invest in something to crush the grain. The mill seems sturdy enough. Maybe it will last a lifetime, at least at the rate that I brew, but maybe not. I used it once with the factor setting. I double milled the grain because the first time through looked a little suspect. I only end up with 66% extraction efficiency. I'll need to try to adjust it. Anyhow, there are likely better mills out there, but I think I will be happy enough with this.

The Cereal Killer looks to be quite a nice deal. I think you will find that the gap setting will have a big effect on mash efficiency. At least that is my experience. I get great efficiency with a setting of 0.035" on my mill. Cheers!
