What's the story with this? Worth attending? Beer at least mediocre? The website is impressively devoid of information.
I've been a couple times in the past. I'd call it pretty standard as far as breweries that attend. Last year there were a good bit of local breweries, so I'd imagine the same would be the case this year. But the couple of things that make it a little more enjoyable than other festivals, in my opinon: 1. The pricing hasn't reached gouging heights yet... 2. The setting is unbeatable as long as the weather is nice. Pretty wide open, decent food (included in price), music...and it's right next to the river...the first year I went, people were walking right down to sit by the river with their samples. A nice atmosphere for sure compared to something like the Penn Microbrew Festival (or whatever) where you're ducking to avoid beams in a parking garage and there's no air circulation or anything.
This website? http://www.millvalepa.com/brew14 Seems pretty informative to me - list of brewers & beers. It's all stuff distributed by Vecenie (which calls Millvale home).
