Yeah I saw that when I got there. They told me multiple times on their Facebook page that it was only going to be one ounce. Try anything you really like in the rare stuff?

My favorites, besides the BCS's ,were the Big Eddy Baltic PorterwGhost pepper+licorice, the 2nd batch of Chads My Turn,Oso's growler of Sweet Stout, the Lakefront Checkpoint Charliew/syrup,Bells Black Note, and what turned out to be the hit of the Festival the Chads My Turn aged in KK Whiskey barrels.

Yeah it was all amazing. I love how they left the VIP are open at the end of the night. I tried to drink as much of it as I could before they closed it down.

By the time I made it to Oso they had ran out of the special growler. Too bad I missed it. They have been knocking it out of the park lately with wee on the lam and BA Night Train.

The only other event I will be making is the Goose Island tap takeover at Romans on Thursday to get some Cherry Rye and Coffee.

I'm coming back to Milwaukee on Thursday for a wedding this weekend and just noticed that Milwaukee Beer Week is going to be coincidentally happening while I'm there.

Any events going on that you guys think should not be missed? (on Thursday and Friday since those are the only days I'll be able to attend anything)

Any of you guys at Crafts and Drafts have the Zombie Dust? I wasn't impressed but was wondering if it was some old stuff because it was pretty malty and no juiciness. Ive never had ZD before so I had nothing to compare to

I just went to a GI Tap Takeover in NYC a couple weeks ago that had cherry and coffee. Looking for something that'll have a nice selection of beers I can't get here (CW, NG, etc.)

Jealous. I want to try the 1414 and 15, but got too much stuff going on in Madison at the moment.

If I wriggle free this Thursday and Friday to drive over to MKE, what do you guys think might be worthwhile? I think I ought to make Roman's GI tapping for sure but what else?

(And btw ISO Black Note, FT KBS)

More like 25 minutes....both kegs tapped at 600pm sharp and kicked at 625pm. There was a bit of hoarding going on....but that's going to happen. 1414 is really starting to mellow and Fifteen is drinking pretty damn good! I missed Nitro Mudpuppy, but Illumination was awesome!

Looking forward to Burnheart's on Wednesday and other events during the weekend.

The beers did kick pretty quick, but the event still seemed to run pretty well given how many people wanted to try each. It was definitely a good experience to be able to try both side-by-side.

After having a taste of each before, I thought I'd prefer the 1414 a little bit. Happened to be in the mood for a more chewy bourbon element though, so the Fifteen was my favorite from yesterday. I wish there were more events that had both these beers on tap! :grinning:
