Sorry if this has been discussed ad nauseam, but I'm using the BA app and unable to search forums. I'll be in Milwaukee next week for work and am hoping to find some New Glarus brews. I'll be staying a couple blocks away from the BMO Harris Bradley Center and won't have a car, so anything near there would be helpful. Any brews that I should keep an eye out for? I'm from Michigan and have never been to Wisconsin, and have only had one NG beer (serendipity). Thanks for any help!
Pretty much anywhere that sells beer will have a majority of NG's lineup available. For restaurant/bar recommendations try Stubby's, Rumpus Room, or Uber Tap Room and Cheese Shop. All 3 are pretty close to the BMO Ceneter and should be walkable (Stubby's is a bit longer of a walk but not horrible)
The Milwaukee Market has a bar/bottleshop that will have NG bottles. That's probably the closest place to downtown that has bottles. Also, take a look at BeerMenus. A lot of bars keep current taplists on there.
Metro Market will be close and def carry NG beers. Points East has great wings a decent beer selection for food. Frank
It's not close to where you're staying, but if you can - check out burnhearts. Nice little neighborhood bar with an awesome beer selection.
If you're just looking for NG basically anywhere that sells beer in the city will have the 6 pack varietals and the 750ml fruit beers. If you wanted Thumbprint you'll need to hit up a grocery or liquor store. Grab an Uber and hit up Discount though. It'll be worth your trip to grab stuff you can't find in Michigan.
