Anyone have any thoughts on this or had been there last year? I'm thinking about trying to make the trek up there this weekend
Always a decent time with some interesting offerings. I think $48 isn't too bad considering what many festivals charge these days.
I have been there the last 2 years and am going again this year. You get to try a ton of good beer and some fun firkins. It is a bit pricey but I still didn't even debate whether I was going to buy a ticket again this year when they went on sale, I just did it. It's a good time.
We went a couple of years ago and it was a good time. It wasn't a "whalez fest" but my wife and I definitely got our money's worth (in fact we left early to walk back to the hotel because we had consumed more than enough).
Just found out last night that I'll be at Firkin fest. Maybe I'll ask the NG reps if they have any info on the R&D release, in three weeks.
Weather looks pretty good right now.. plus they have tents. I think we are good, just going to be really warm.
