    Hey everyone,

I'm looking for a good spot to grab some lunch on Friday. I'm headed to Milwaukee for a wedding and I'm going to have about a 2 hour window to myself. Looking for a spot that's good some good food and an awesome beer list. Suggestions??

Stubby's. 52 taps and great food. Cafe Centraal is good if you like Belgian beer.

Cafe Centraal for food and then next door to Sugar Maple for a couple beers.

The Sugar Maple as mentioned above has a great tap selection, but no food. But there's a ton of restaurants/cafes within walking distance of there that are really good and a cool neighborhood.

I'm partial to the Rumpus Room. Really good food and a really nice tap selection right downtown walking distance of most hotels.

Cafe Centraal/Cafe Hollander/Cafe Benelux are all the same company and similar offshoots in the same vein of Belgian/European style foods and beers, but have a lot of other beers also and their food is pretty solid.

Really it's hard to go wrong at any of them, just depends on where you are staying and your transportation ability. If you want further help, I live in Milwaukee and would be happy to discuss more if you want. Just send me a message.

Thanks guys! Everything sounds good. I grew up in MKE, but moved out of state after college (and before my love of craft beer was born). Now I try to take in something new every time I get back to the city. Staying down at The Brewhouse for the weekend, so I should be able to knock a couple of these out.

Stubby's is probably going to be the closest to you, but try and stop at The Comet on Farwell and Burnheart's in Bayview.

If you have the time to head south hit Uncle Mikes on the interstate, good food and 84 taps running.
