It's about that time to get together and drink some good brews. Just a feeler for dates in April, added Sunday afternoons as this may work better for more people. Please take note DLD is on April 28 if people are going. Please use the following link:

Feel free to post suggestions on styles. I'll save beerwolf77 a post and throw sours out there for him.

A few entries so far, but looking like April 13-14 work best for most people...

Don't put much weight into my votes since I'm not a Milwaukee guy. I'll try to make it over if I can though! We convince beerwolf to drive over to Madison all the time, so I suppose we should return the favor every now and then.

Edit: By "all the time" I actually mean "twice".

After the BCS tasting it will be 3 times. So you definitely "owe" me a trip to Milwaukee. Seriously though if you do make it out I have room for you to crash if you don't feel like driving back.

I'm always down for a grab bag, but themes are fine too. Sours or "spring beers" (bocks etc.) would be nice

The date for this has been set for Friday April 13, I'll get a spreadsheet up soon so people can start thinking about what to bring. Feel free to spread the word about the tasting. Hopefully we can get a few more people involved!

Hello Everyone. glad I decided to give BA another chance and came across this thread. I'll put my .02 in. I'm down for a bring any style type of tasting. I've also done several "blind" tastings, which are fun. Basically everyone brings their beer in a brown bag, and one at a time everyone gets a turn to go and pick a beer, any beer and than pour it for everyone. Once everyone is done tasting it and/or guessing what they think it might be it gets unveiled.
Again just my .02 but I'm definitely in.

I actually quite like the blind tasting idea, it's the only way we can actually get beerwolf to drink non-sours!

I moved to Colorado last year but I'm tentatively planning to come home and visit some people that weekend. Might have a full schedule but if I'm free I might try to join you guys for a bit if there's room, and would bring some good CO stuff

I like the idea of the blind tasting. Does that mean I can bring Schlitz and tell you it's something else?

Count me in. Love the blind tasting idea.

You may recall that you, me and my buddy shared some Speedway Stout and a few others beers at the CW Anniversary Party up in Amherst. Looking forward to it!

So it seems like we have quite a few people that are coming now. I set up a spreadsheet for what people are bringing.

    https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/lv?key=0AnSc_czjoUqTdGlzM1YyZWhSMTlfM1gyQS1LcHU0eHc

I figured this would work like this: If we're doing a blind tasting we should obviously be comparing beers of the same style. So rather than naming what you're bringing everyone should mark what style you could contribute to. My best estimate is currently about ten people coming, so keep that in mind as most beers would have to be bombers or 750s unless you have multiples. I figure everyone should plan on bringing 2-3 styles of beer. Add your style if i didnt list it. I haven't figured out how to prevent multiples so I'm open to suggestions. Also feel free to bring stuff that doesn't necessarily have to be tasted "blind" And maybe you just feel like cracking open. Looking forward to this!

Still working some details out but Ithink I have a good grasp on how this'll work. I'll post this weekend, make sure to add to the spreadsheet if you haven't yet!
