Tasting group happened two weekends ago during the "crash" It was a great success. Between humblebrags and party armor pyramid schemes, quite a few good beers were shared. Can't seem to find a good picture but the lineup was as follows:

    Two Brothers Bare Tree 2010
    Sour Bitch
    Kern V Anniversary

    Lou Pepe Framboise 2008
    Eclipse - Elijah Craig 18
    Kuhnhenn BBBW
    The Abyss 2010
    Brute

We'll be planning another one soon. Be on the lookout for details...

Wasn't me. Which made me enjoy it even more. That tasting was a lot of fun. Lots of good laughs and great beers were shared. I would encourage more local cats to make it out for the next one. Big thanks to all who attended and an even bigger thanks to Kyle for hosting.

Good times indeed - thanks again for hosting. I think next time I'll bring the baller stout, darkness, black albert, and some breakfast weasel. If my bro-in-law can make it as well he'll cover the dark lord.

Good to hear! I couldn't make it, ended up working the Food and Froth Fest at the museum that night.

Had a wonderful time as well. Did manage to pick up some Party Armour and smuggle some back to Illinois.

So what are the rules for how much you bring, etc? Where do you meet?

    Cheers!

We've only had one tasting so nothing is set as far as "rules". I would say it's going to be a fluid situation until we get a few under our belt. We all expressed interest in meeting at kalvarez's place in the future. It's centrally located and a rather large space. As far as how many bottles it will depend on the number attending each tasting. We all brought way too much to the last tasting. I believe there was around 20-30 bottles for 5 guys. Lots of generosity in this group for sure. We will get a spread sheet going again for dates and bottles soon.

Sounds like a good plan. I'd hate to not fully experience some of the beers because I had a few big ones that wipe out my taste buds.

    Cheers!
