It's about that quarterly time again when we enter the ole mimosa discussion. Does any have any info of any recent trades for this, what are some beers, single or combos that should be able to land a HF mimosa. All comments welcome, any info appreciated. Cheers!
Last Mimosa trade I'm aware of was back in May when I finally landed it. I traded A Deal With The Devil + Lente + Zomer + Herfst + Winter + Hommage (B2) + Flora (B5). Despite a lot of people telling me I was dumb (or ******ed more specifically) for offering up all that, I still only got 1 legit response. The other trader sent me a box with a few very solid extras in addition to the Mimosa.
I traded one away for a BRL+Appreciation. Got a couple more I'd unload for similar or other lambic combo.
if you like overpaying for a beer that is over the hill. no way it is worth the Armand Seasons, let alone Hommage + Flora.
ha well as you know that is the price of rarity, not quality. Mimosa 4.42 rAVG Lente 4.76 rAVG fwiw I see one sold in August for $400 and the trade above represents at least double that. yikes.
Yes and no, but mostly no. I'm very happy I finally got to try Mimosa, and share it with a good friend. It was my only personal remaining "whale", and that is what it took to get one. Having now had it I wouldn't make the trade again, or even give up 1/2 what I did. But I don't regret making the trade.
