Have you seen these 1.75 gallon kegs with ball locks for 150$ that come with a regulator??? Do you think they can really carbonate a 1 gallon batch of homebrew in a few hours???? Also, do any of the main homebrew supplies do free shipping over 100 bucks??
If your beer is cold it will take on CO2 quicker. A quick shake and bake method would get you carbed in a few hours. I wouldn't trust the CO2 to settle into solution for a while, but others who move their kegs around might vouch for that. Shake and Bake: I usually just put the keg on the floor and roll it back and forth with my foot. Make sure these regulators have a check valve in them, or you'll get beer in your gas line.
