I'm looking at the EdgeStar Mini Kegerator. Anyone have any experiences, good or bad? I understand that it comes only with fittings for Heineken 5L kegs. But I'd like to use it with the others without internal pressurizer. What parts will I need to obtain to duplicate the obsolete kit to use it for home-brews, and the other 5L kegs, on the market? The Edgestar mini for the Heineken 5 liter kegs is a piece of shit. This forum has discussed the topic before, so please do the search. I am not sure what you mean by "internal pressurizer" other than the shitty design of the 5 liter keg. Which is beyond crappy. This is proprietary junk. It is unequivocally not recommended. In summary, Edgestar is junk. The Heineken 5L keg is a pasteurized piece if shit. Every penny spent is money that could have been spent on something useful, like a tattoo or zit cream.
