mini snifter role call

this is an old Martell cognac snifter - marked on the foot. I've had it for 25+ years . Perfect for sipping Utopias or Bourbon.

 

As the beer laws were changing in Mississippi last year, Raise Your Pints Mississippi made mini snifters for its members:



It's a local go-to glass and a wonderful symbol of the progress (however small) we've made over the last few years!

 

I don't have a picture of it, but the only mini snifter I have is from Central Coast Brewing in San Luis Obispo, CA.

I love this snifter, and was able to pick one up, thanks to a cool NC BA. However, just a heads-up, it's not a mini snifter, in case someone else is looking for one. Still a fun one, though!

 

Thanks for this thread! I hosted a tasting last Friday, and while it went over well, I didn't have proper glasses for it. I immediately went to the Firestone Walker webpage and ordered up 5 of their tasting snifters this afternoon.

 

I'm confused -- what is it if it's not a mini snifter?

Curious, I measured it tonight and the NoDa holds 10 oz. It's smaller than my regular snifters, but larger than some I've gotten at festivals. Either way it looks great :-)

 

It's the same as the red letter Hlaf Acre snifter, which is also 10oz

 

Yes, it appears to be 10oz, as others have said. Below is a comparison of what I'd consider an oversized, regular, and mini snifter to be.



Again, it's a great glass, but it just doesn't quite fit into the mini snifter category ... in my opinion.

 

Got out several sizes I have for a lineup. It's not mini, but I love the Terrapin one. Goodwill find!

It was from a beer festival in Nashville, the Winter Warmer (epic event!). Local brewer Yazoo got their logo on one side.

Nice glasses; I dig the tabletop as well! Hope to do something like that with my saved labels one day...

 

this one has a 4 oz line but it's not quite a mini
