Minimal search bar / text hidden

    I don't think I've changed any settings on my Samsung Galaxy S8 using Chrome.

    This is working as intended. The location of the search bar has simply moved. Like before, click the X to dismiss it.

    I think you're referring to the minimal search bar text color. I've updated it, and the thread title.
