Minneapolis: good liquor store and bars?

    Going to Minneapolis next weekend(specifically Blaine area). Looking for good local liquor stores to get some good local brews. Also looking for a good bar to watch Iowa minn game that had some good craft beers on tap. If possible looking for family friendly bar as I have my wife and a 1 year old.

    Yes.
    This is your best bet for food and beer in that area.
    If you're planning on eating there at night, bring a little flashlight because it is very dimly lit.

    If you want to hit a really good brewpub, HammerHeart in Lino Lakes is very close by.
    They have a very unique line up - and very good!
    However, no food here.

    If you're going to venture to Minneapolis, Town Hall on 7 Corners -West Bank is a must for taps & food.

    For the game; go to the Loop on Washington. That's the Hawkeye bar. The place will be swarming with you weirdos.:slight_smile:
