I know this is short notice, but... I will be in LA July 4-8, staying in Woodland Hills. I am looking for recommendations for bottle stores and restaurants/bars with good craft beer selection. I don't really want to drive too far -- it looks like Green Jug is a good place to start, but I am open to other suggestions. Also, I could bring some local beer, if anyone is interested in a trade. I have a few bottles of Surly Darkness and Five, plus access to any of their current offerings (Smoke, Furious, CynicAle, Bender, Coffee Bender, Hell, Bitter Brewer), plus other interesting local brews.
Green Jug is your best bet in the area. Also check out Liquid Partyworks (go northbound on Topanga Cyn), Total Wine (Northridge), Wade's Wines (a bit tough to find in the back of a business park in Agoura Hills). As far as brewpubs, there's Ladyface and The Lab (recently opened). Both are right by Wade's in Agoura Hills as well.
