Would I be correct in assuming this is the Ken Schmidt winning Homebrew from back in March? I believe it was dubbed "Mint on your pillow at the Ritz" or something of the like.

Nice..will be picking some up for sure.

Curious for anyone who got to try the original if they were able to stay true to form?

Tastes & smells exactly the same as it did at the rally.

Wow, just poured my first and am really enjoying this! Not to copy everyone else, but the taste does indeed remind me of a just the right amount of Andes mint in a stout. Maybe just a touch hot on the finish, but I do need to try and find more of this. Very well done.

Just read the blog post and was very surprised to see the chocolate came from ChocoVivo in Venice! Patricia the owner is super humble and cool and makes some great Mexican style stone ground chocolate for those that like that style of chocolate.

Great beer, I bought first couple at City Beer in SF, then was out in Novato on work and bought everyone on the shelf in the Novato BevMo. Fantastic beer, great price, can't beat it.

Tastes like girl scout thin mint cookies...very tasty.

Anyone know how limited this is? I've had several and really enjoyed it. Just trying to decide if I should stockpile right now.

Bevmos in the Bay Area have been getting about 48 bottles each in their shipments so there seems to be a decent amount around.
