If they are only infected with brett, then they could be amazing. I LOVED Old Dipsea with Brett and I also loved the hell out of '09 Mirror^2 fresh, so Mirror Mirror with Brett sounds damn good.

I had bought a couple of bottles of the '09 Mirror Mirror back in the Liquid Solutions days. I drank one when it arrived and was amazing. The second one I opened when I heard about the infection issue. It was bacteria, not brett, that infected this brew. Sour as all hell, and not in a good way.

Could you please elaborate on the purpose of this post? I'm confused because the link indicates that not all the bottles were effected (as you also articulate in your subsequent post). So, why the post regarding those fortunate to have uninfected bottles?

Have you faced aggression from those with satisfactory bottles?

I only had 1 from a trade and popped it earlier this year, with no infection. It was a fantastic beer!

As many have said, it's luck of the draw. I've had three before, all were uninfected and delicious, and still have another waiting. It may be infected, but it's a great enough beer to take that chance.

My BA Yeti, however... now THAT was a fucking let down...

My 09 Mirror Mirror was infected and was an instant drain pour. Tasted like Band-Aids.

I had one last month and it was delicious, but definitely had some off flavors.

No, they were acquired from several different trade partners.

I reviewed a bottle in a round of the Blind BIF, and was confused as hell trying to figure out what it was, since it was obviously some sort of wild ale, but unlike anything I'd ever had. I actually kinda liked it -- it's amazing what can taste good when you have zero expectations
