Got some Yazoo Sue in a trade a few years back, and it's one of those beers that stuck with me and I've never forgotten. Luckily, I will be driving through Memphis in early September. Unfortunately, I'm not going to be able to stop and stay for a look-see, so would like to know where I can find some Sue (hopefully not too far off the beaten path). Any other easily-accessible, must-have local recommendations would be appreciated as well.
right off the interstate and across the street almost from the brewery is a big seer store that would carry, but it is a rotating beer and may not be there in September
I'm not in Memphis, so not an expert on the local scene. However, Sue should be pretty readily available. One thing to keep in mind, is because of the ABV laws you will have to go to a liquor store to buy it. I have linked to a Memphis thread below that hopefully will help out with places to go. I live in Nashville and enjoy a nice Sue. Yazoo puts out some good beers. When I need some beers I try the brewer site first then Google. If all else fails, call 'em up! As for recommended beers. I love Black Abby Rose and Bearded Iris Homestyle. Both are great! Jackalope Bearwalker is also good.
