I just had to post this ... I read this thread last night and could feel some of your pain.

Today, my 12 year old son's guinea pig died. Now, I understand your pain.

 

WOW you are the man cfh64, just got my box and I am blown away with your generosity. My wife almost lost it reading the card. Thanks. WIll post a pic as soon I can get it downloaded.

Dude why even bother posting that. I'm sure your 2 year old nephew was playing with the dog very gently too. Seriously every time I hear crap like this I wonder who was supervising and/or allowed the situation to occur in the first place.

To the Op, I know how you feel. My doberman passed away suddenly at the park a couple of months ago at the ripe old age of 11 and I still think about her and miss her all the time. My thoughts are with you and your family. Hang in there!
