Ahhh...hm...that changes things.

I had 1 shipment broke by UPS earlier on and didn't get flagged. Yours is the first I've heard with near concrete evident of flagging. There may also be a different between shipping from a UPS location (where information is entered) vs. from an authorized shipper, which I typically use. That said, I ship nearly exclusively via FedEx via an authorized drop off location. I had one box returned for "improper alcohol shipment" because it got scanned/x-rayed and had another box that broke and discarded. No flagging from them.

 

Yeah, there are many variables that could be at play...just thought I'd share...

Since this thread was revived, did @Wiskey_33 ever get made right on this one?

 

So I worked for UPS for about 15 months back in the day and was a shift manager of an outbound shipment package processing belt/line. This was about 10 years ago, so things may have changed since then, but even though there was a "Loss Prevention" Dept that would randomly select packages to scan their contents for materials compliance, I never heard of any flagging program that was in place.

To be honest, I wasn't too worried about the first package as the FedEx person I spoke with before I left for the extended Thanksgiving holiday I took said the package was located in an annex of the delivering facility and had just missed the delivery truck and would deliver the next business day. That kind of thing is rather common. Obviously I knew something was up when I logged back in to check my mail and I saw that this thread was going, and my UID had been dropped. NOT blaming @Wiskey_33 at all. This was his FIRST trade and I had been out of communication for a while. I feel super sh!tty that this is how his first trade went down and told him to have faith in the process as there are a LOT of good traders on this site.

Just anxious to see this package deliver ok.
