Are they any decent places to do mix sixes in the western or southern chicago suburbs? Binny's is decent, but I'm looking for the types of places that would put like FBS, various Bell's brews, and the like up for a mix six. If not mix sixes then somewhere really good for singles would be nice too.
archer liquors on archer and centralish in chicago will let you split up any four or six pack in the store. good prices too.
Surprisingly, I've had really great luck recently at the new Mariano's grocery store by me. Today I just made a 6 pack that consisted of 4 Sucks and 2 LH Nitros. They had a bunch of beers from Bells (I've gotten a few FBS from the section), Lagunitas, and local places like Two Brothers, Metropolitan & Finch. It's hit or miss, but it's worth a shot and it's only 8.99. Cardinal Liquors usually has a decent section too.
