During the discussion over whether to add ye olde ballyard to the "Places" listings, it occurred to me that we could probably find some use out of a thread that discusses stadium beer options. I'll start with an article from a local Mariners blog, feel free to add from your local/regional beer or baseball sites/blogs. https://www.lookoutlanding.com/2025/3/20/24390524/what-to-eat-and-drink-at-t-mobile-park-this-season
I don’t think I’ve been to Dodger Stadium since 2001 - and as far as beer goes, I’m probably not missing much. As far as I remember, the main “craft beer” was Golden Road. No thanks. The know that the Latino demographic love to toss back micheladas. And what trips me out about them is how less beer than a standard - because the edition of Clamato - jacks the price up to what? $25 now? Wild. On another note, I totally can recall some racial profiling back in 2007. Security made the Latino guy in front of me lift up his jacket (nothing was there), all while they didn’t ask me to do shit and I had a Pale Ale tucked into my waistband!
White Sox Stadium Two craft focused places in the same vicinity by the right field foul pole (Sec 107-108), The one with the larger selection is available at the “Craft Cave” the way back down the ramp to the entrance. Would suggest entering the part at Gate 5, the furthest South entrance, if you want to check it out. Also a good spot if it’s raining hard or freezing. It’s self serve and like everything inside the stadium it’s card payment only. Not sure if the hosted pick will allow a clear reading of the available beers, but there are two dozen ranging from meh to decent/good plus. The mote convenient stand is in the same vicinity but on the main concourse also by the right field foul pole. They have over a dozen beers with a couple worth ordering. For most fans, including craft beer fans, it should be ok enough if you don’t want to waste several minutes to go up and down the ramps to the craft cave entering from Gates 2-3. The don’t have the craft beer lists on the BallPark app, the spyware data mining site MLB now makes fans use to sell their data, now that they refuse to print or allow printed tickets. Go Sox!
