As good of a list as any.

Does this finally mean I won't have to see the breweries advertise this in my Facebook feed? I sure do wish I could have gone on that brewery tour though.

Yeah, I also have some mild disagreement with where some breweries ended up in the rankings, but overall a good article with good information.

Until the next list is being made.

Don't get the love for Greenbush, but whatever.

Delusion would change your mind. That beer was phenomenal. Although, I don't agree with their spot on the list.

It's all a subjective matter, for sure.

That was the biggest one. I've been there and tried a decent amount of their specialty and regulars. Nothing wows me except a couple of the one offs they bring to festivals. Good one offs don't make for the 2nd best MI brewery.

They at least went to the places on the list and sampled the beers. Not a bad list. Mine would be a little different, but that I just me.

Good to see some UP and SE MI breweries on the list.
It was good to see Crankers get some recognition, as I know Adam from his Homebrewing days.

I figured they'd have a tough time even cracking 2nd best in Berrien County.

It is based on experience in the pub, not beer itself.

I agree that the visits to each brewery and the total experience is the basis for the article and the rankings, but Brewery Vivant isn't in the Top 10, and that is the biggest disappointment for me in that list. That brewery is a great place with great beer and food.

I was a "consultant" on the U.P. leg of their tour, since Amy Sherman couldn't make it up. It's nice to see that all three of the breweries they went to up here got a mention.

I guess I'm in the minority of loving greenbush. They and shorts are 2 of my 3 favs. It actually refreshing to see bells and founders not 1 & 2 for once

In on this. Of all the breweries I've been to in MI, Vivant is probably my favorite in respect to the focus of the rankings in the article mentioned.

I'm not even sure how Greenbush made the top ten, let alone #2. I've had nothing they made that I thought was great or even anything I'd actively seek out again.

Maybe the travelers had too many places and too many beers in such a short time period so that they got their notes mixed up. I can't think of any other reason that Vivant was overlooked for the top 10.

Wouldn't be even close to my list, but doesn't bother me.

Agreed Greenbush has been consistently great with their bottles this year. From Dunegrass to BB.. Dark horse to me killed it as well but the rarity of plead the 5th and nothing that great after double crooked tree set them back a bit in my book.
