I was just going through the app store looking for local apps in general and saw one for Minnesota Beer Activist, which I hadn't expected, so I downloaded it. Then looked up mnbeer and did not see one. I haven't tested the activist app yet, but are there any other apps out there that are specifically relevant to MN or the Twin Cities? And not things where any one bar or brewery has developed an app just for themselves, but I am talking a more general app relating to the regional beer scene.
I randomly searched MN Beer on Google Play once and this is came up https://play.google.com/store/apps/...sImNvbS5kcmVhbXN0ZXAud01OQmVlckFjdGl2aXN0cyJd - it's an ok app, not much functionality other than news updates Other than that, nothing specifically for Minnesota............................yet
Yes, that is the one that I was referring to having downloaded. Earlier, I went to one of their events at Nomad.
a beer list for bars the ability to search for beer available at liquor stores a map for brewery addresses/directions
I agree, but it is something I'd like to see in an app. If we could even get the distributor for a brewery, that could help track down liquor stores that have ordered product within the past 30 days
It would be great, but you're asking for a lot of information that most private companies would not willingly give out, and I don't think distro's can either, since they would ultimately be giving up some of that stores sales records
First two suggestions would be pretty tough for several reasons. However, we'll look into it. We will roll maps in to the next update.
