I would recommend The Ale Jail for shopping in St. Paul. Lots of singles there so you can try out lots of local beers.

Heritage in Maplewood is also good if you're on the north side of St. Paul. Surly, Summit, Steel Toe, Indeed, and LiftBridge are some of the local favorites in bottles and cans. Oskar Blues, Green flash, and Epic are also available in MN.

Surly, Steel Toe, and Indeed are great. A lot of people here are high on Fulton so you might want to pick up some of their stuff. If you have time to stop at any of the local brewbups and taprooms Town Hall is a must. Northbound, Harriet, Dangerous Man, and Day Block are good options too.

Lift Bridge has some beers worth trying. Also, Bent Paddle.

My Favorite is Hammerheart, a lil outside of the twin cities, and i dont think they bottle or can yet (been a while since ive been there). Also places I go to buy, Heritage (already mentioned), Cellars, and haskells, but many other good places to buy as well.

If you talk to any of the local BAs they are going to recommend saga. I am obviously one of them. Grab a 12er of summit saga for $12 (or less!) and enjoy!

None I can think of at this moment, but its still early, also worth a drive out to Hudson to Casanovas, about 30-40 min from TC, especially if you want to try to grab some TG

And just an FYI - they will fill anyone's growler.

Also, you should be aware that liquor stores aren't open on Sundays in Minnesota due to some very outdated laws. So you'll need to work around that. Stores are opened in Wisconsin on Sundays though, and Casanovas in Hudson is just twenty minutes from downtown St. Paul. As others have said, they usually have four Toppling Goliath beers available for growler purchase. The growler glassware they sell there is ungodly expensive, but they do fill anyone else's growlers. So if you can bring so glassware up from Missouri it might be well worth your trouble.

Surly 8 may be out and around by then. Surly's seasonal sour Pentagram is pretty easy to find as well if that's your type of thing.

Second the Ale Jail if you're in St Paul. Bent Paddle is another brewery out of Duluth that's worth checking out. They have them at Ale Jail and a few other places.

If you head over to Hudson and Casanova's you should make a detour to Dennis Brothers in Cottage Grove.

Isn't anyone going to mention 4 Firkins? I have never been, but I understand it's the premier craft bottle shop of the Twin Cities.

Also - grab some Empty Rowboat IPA by Lake Monster. Brand new stuff. Super, super good.
