Are the below the 4 you speak of? Also, is 612 going to have food trucks, or actually have a kitchen? I never really fully grasped how that new law change works, and how a brewery differentiates from a brewpub.

    612
    Indeed
    Dang. Man Brewpub
    Northbound Brewpub

612 is launching with a Rye IPA? Love it. This town desperately needs more rye!

Northgate, one of the founders is a member of our homebrew club...so I do have a bit of extra info on them.

And, Northgate will be a production brewery...no taproom planned yet.

I had not heard of Northbound, but after looking I saw that Smokehouse changed their name to Northbound Smokehouse. They are in South Minneapolis, near the Hiawatha LRT (which is where "northbound" comes in I am guessing).

I wonder how long 612 has had that statement ready, but waited until 6/12 to release it.

With all of these places opening up, I am going to need a better growler storage solution.

It's called drinking at the brewery. As you've said they're all in your neighborhood...

yeah, or a change to the MN growler laws that would allow you to bring in any growler to any brewery. Kinda like Sconni, Michigan and IA

Or better yet, like WA where you can fill naglene bottles and mason jars at bars, bottle shops, and breweries. Any container, any brand, anywhere.

No shit...this needs to be done...I got 12 different growlers from 12 different places and will buy no more from anyone.

I would use my Nalgene Fitger's Growlers, and no other. I love those things.

I'll never forget when I was sitting at the bar at Fish Tale Brewing in Olympia, WA, and a guy came in with a 64 oz jug of apple juice and had it filled straight from the tap...speechless.

Yeah, thats prone to happen. I once felt compelled enough by a beer to go and buy a 2L soda water bottle, dump it in a parking lot and have the brewery fill it off the tap.

Did you go across the street to The Eastside Club Tavern? Best damn beer bar I ever wandered into.
