My favorite beer pub of all time. Anyone else out there just itching for this place to come back?

I love the beer selection and food. They have been closed for way too long at this point!

Just wanted to survey the Midwest BA crowd to see who is missing Busters!

Miss it so bad. This was my spot for a laid back night of beer and bar food.

I have some contacts within Busters. They are aiming for a late Feb- early April opening from what I can tell. Ugh..... waaaaaaaaaay to long. However it will be remodeled and about 90% of the staff will be back. The real shame is that I heard the beer that was downstairs was damaged. They had some great beer down there, namely a 2012 keg of Clown Shoes Procine Unidragon.

I thought it was to re-open months ago. Now we're talking February or April 2014? Who do they think they are, Lagunitas?!

I didn't get there often, but this was my favorite stop when going to or from the airport. Super convenient. I know that there are some other solid places similarly close, but Buster's was definitely my favorite. Can't wait for it to return. They better still offer the pretzel and cheese dip, made at the bakery next door. Blows away anybody else's.

This place is my favorite. Not only is their food and beer amazing....I love their staff! They are always going out of their way to accomidate us. All I can say is that I hope Johnny will be back. I miss his dry humor and beer talks

I really miss Busters and can't wait for it to reopen! I wish they would have used this chance to move to a location with more room but I'll show up soon after they reopen.

Geez that is a bummer. They were for sure the leaders in the Metro for great cellar list. I miss the chipolte cream cheese on everything!

Popular Powderhorn bar/restaurant Buster's on 28th—which has been temporarily shuttered since a devastating fire during last summer's "solstice storm"—assured fans on its Facebook page that it will be reopening. Buster's posted the plans for the new restaurant layout (expanded kitchen, more tap lines, and more bathrooms) along with a note:
Hey Everyone! Just wanted to put your hearts and minds at ease. Rest assured, we are reopening! The process has been full of a lot of paperwork, inspections, and other uninteresting bits that we didn't think needed posting. Our apologies if you felt left out on ALL of the fun.
The note continues to say that they will set a reopening date as soon as they are able to.

You can drive by there and look in the windows. They haven't even started demo yet and are just now getting to the blueprint/planning stage? They will be lucky to open by Fall let alone "early April".

People were fired up about them not updating the progress of the build out.

There was no physical progress until this week. They just started and are expanding in the process.

Probably not alot to talk about until recently. Sounded like there were some insurance delays, then planning, permitting, etc....can't wait for it to reopen. Hopefully by fall? Miss the braised beef sandwiches!

I was told by a (former) bartender a week ago that "every type of red tape you could invent was invented" during the process. I feel mostly for all the employees, I'll be one of the first in line when it reopens.

Anyone else remember there impeccable cellar list?! They always had something semi-rare and fairly priced. They had problems updating the list at points. But they would always take care of you if you ordered one that they didn't have. I have no idea why other restaurants don't start to build out a cellar list...?!
